Replacing DELL Latitude Notebook Keyboard

I just got a brand new DELL keyboard today. It was shipped by a courier service in a nicely packed box. Well, if you’re wondering the keyboard is not mine , it’s for my colleague DELL Latitude notebook. I just helped him to replace his faulty keyboard.

The box is very light and when I first received it I can’t figure out that it was a keyboard ! It’s seemed more like an empty box ! haha, but luckily it’s not.

Do you know how much does it cost ? Well, if you think it’s cheap you’re wrong. This keyboard cost about RM111.00, including shipping and handling but without the labour cost. You’d be even surprise the fact that the labour cost more than the keyboard itself :( That’s why I just ordered the keyboard and skipped the labour cost. The labour cost if I remembered correctly is around RM130. That sucks ! That’s why do it yourself (DIY) is the best, provided that you know what you’re doing. If you don’t know then ask Online DIY Guy :)

If you are using desktop PC, chances are you don’t have to take the trouble changing the in-built keyboard. Just throw the faulty one and replaced it with a new one…..Making life simple and less complicated, right ?
