Towards More Reliable Windows Vista - Service Pack 2

Windows Vista Service Pack 2 is on the way ! According to the trusted source, the new service pack is plan to be released first half of 2009. Although getting some negative feedback from  the customers, Microsoft will continue to improve on VIsta and hopefully those who are still sitting on the fence with WIndows XP will upgrade to Vista soon.

To be frank, I am one of those user :) I just feel more comfortable with my Windows XP Pro. With Windows XP Service Pack 3 release, I feel more convinced to stay with Windows XP at least for the time being. Other than that, I am thinking to switch directly from my current Windows XP Pro to the new Windows 7, skipping Windows Vista. Anyway, I just got the news that the release of Windows 7 (successor of Windows Vista) will only officially be avaialble to user in 3 years time . sigh !! I have no choice but to upgrade to Vista in the near future, probably middle of 2009 when SPVista2 is available. In fact, in my opinion, Vista will not be reliable until the release of service pack 2 !

WIth new service pack 2 for Vista, user will see some major improvement especially on hardware support (bluetooth 2.1, smart card, 64-bit CPU, etc), more user-friendly Windows Search, etc. With this new service pack release, wireless setup and maintenance will also be simplified. A computer newbie with basic knowledge will able to setup the wireless connection easily with easy-to-follow step.

Got something to say?
