Asimo - World’s First Humanoid Robot

If you want to see live how Asimo - the world’s first humanoid robot runs, walks and more impressingly recognized objects, you don’t want to miss this opportunity to catch up live with Asimo, who is now in Malaysia for the roadshows.

The roadshows took place in New Wing of 1Utama, Petaling Jaya from 14 - 16 November 2008 and now at City Square Johor Bahru until 23 November 2008. Asimo will then fly to meet Penang’s fans at Queensbay Mall, Penang from 27 November - 30 November.

Asimo, which was born on October 31, 2000 and at 1.3 metres tall and 54kg, ASIMO’s size and height enables him to operate in the human living space. This smart robot is made of magnesium alloy and covered by platic resin, this is why Asimo is so light and durable.

WIth the continuous developement and improvement, today Asimo can run up to 6km/hour, and walk at different speed at 2.7km/hour. Not only that, like human being Asimo also capable to climb stairs. WIth it’s capability to carry out delivery service using tray or cart, no doubt he will be a good a waiter or waitress one day
